law lunch

Today i lunched with the highly sexy Alan Brady (husband-to-be of Louise White). Despite being highly sexy, Alan is also highly intelligent and taught me much about the injustice of the irish legal system - apparently rich people in suits get much better treatment then people who come to court in jeans/tracksuits and runners... i was shocked! They actually let people into a courthouse in jeans (or even worse...tracksuits)...how vile! As i always say, tracksuits were not made to be worn as daywear.. they are for the gym and the gym alone - not even for travelling to and from the gym (another outfit is needed for that).

I'm going to a ceili tonight (a fundraiser for maisie's director's option)... imagine me...at a ceili...
At least i have the outfit ready - i may look like an extra from Riverdance the Movie, but when my feet get moving, you'll be hard pressed to stop them... mainly because like one of those massive tanker ships, it takes me about 4 miles to slow down and stop...

I'm using alot of those ...'s - are they very annoying? I quite like them, its as though i'm alluding to saying something more, even though i'm not!

The winter weather has finally arrived in Dublin and i broke out my new overcoat today, introducing it to my daywear wardrobe (it has been in the evening collection for a week). Needless to say, i look fabulous!

As i was leaving the office of a colleague in Trinity the other day i happened to comment on a poster i saw advertising a TCD LGBT EGM (so many letters, so many queers - and who the hell ever heard of a T coming to TCD?!). Apparently they were having some crisis with their constitution, which was made clear to me after i had rather loudly asked a. whether or not there was a fisting crisis of some sort and b. why a crappy little society like the LGBT needs an EGM anyway (surely the one loner queer and his lesbian computer science friend could make the decision themselves?). Meanwhile, unbeknownst to myself, i was standing next to the Chair"person" of said society... subtelty thy name is Cian...

I'm sorry. I shoulda shut down the Loser Gimp Bollox Trannie society when I had the chance.

Joining a society about being gay because you're gay is almost counterproductive as it ghetto-ises people. (And NOT in a ghetto-fabulous way.)

I'm like (at last...) ok, you're gay. WHAT ELSE?!

I have one word for what is/was wrong with the LGBTQAnyonelsewithissues Soc. Mordec.
